What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a program developed to offer a full-body workout that combines elements of cardio, weight lifting, gymnastics, core training and more to prepare the body for the unexpected

Workouts are done in a group/class setting, with a Certified CrossFit Trainer leading every class. This ensures motivation as well as safety.

Is CrossFit For Me?

Absolutely! At CrossFit, each and every workout is 100% scalable for ALL shapes, sizes ages and fitness levels. As you get better, we scale up! There is not just ONE way to do a crossfit WOD (Workout of the Day). Every movement can be modified to meet the training needs of the specific athlete.

What makes CrossFit FCC different?

Our goal is to not only strengthen our physical bodies but to support and encourage each other and strengthen our faith in God. We have a "verse of the week," faith-building events twice-a-month, and a positive atmosphere that is evident as soon as you walk in the door.  Romans 4:20 talks about being "strengthened in faith" and "giving glory to God," and that is our focus at CrossFit FCC. 

With the variety of workouts, community support, mental and physical challenges, and scaled workouts for all fitness levels, CrossFit FCC is definitely for everyone!

In 2015, I had a vision of starting a CrossFit "box". My passion is to help grow people to the best they can be.


Coach Kyle

I am a true fitness advocate! As well as being a CrossFit athlete and CF-L1 trainer, I work as a personal trainer and design fitness programs for athletes one on one. I also have my NASM personal training certificate and degree certificate for Massage Therapy from National Holistic Institute of Massage Therapy. I have been working as a personal trainer for more than 2 years now. I have over 3 years of experience as a Massage Therapist and have been a part of the CrossFit life for 2 years. My favorite memory of CrossFit was when I competed in my first competition in a team with CrossFit Brethren. In every event, I had my team rooting me on. They kept me going in each part of the event I was doing. The other athletes from the “box” and the community were so supportive. In my last event, I had to give it a full out sprint, and I couldn’t have done it without their support. That is what I love about CrossFit. It's the community. It’s the home away from home. I can go into the “box” and be with people who want to support me, and I want to do nothing but the same. Support people not only in the “box” with their athletic goals but also in life. It’s all relevant: the support, the love, the push to be better, the community, and it all brings us closer. I am an active Christian at Family Community Church and a leader in the young adults group, Encounter. I love how life comes together. I'm just so excited to be helping people to become healthy in their spirit and in their body. Strong in Body, Strong in Faith. God has given us this body, and it’s so important for us to give it to Him.
